Alice on DVD and Blu-ray Today

Today is the day my 13 year old has been waiting for since she first saw the Alice miniseries on the SyFy Channel way back in October. I realize that wasn't really along time ago, but to a 13 year old it's a lifetime. Alice is finally being released on DVD and Blu-ray.

I saw that it was on sale at Target from the flyer in the Sunday paper and so did she. She asked me to please pick it up on Tuesday. This is no problem because I do my grocery shopping on Tuesdays and there's a Target right there. I popped in and picked up the Blu-ray. I have to admit that I'm happy to get my hands on it as well. I really enjoyed it as well. It will also be nice to get the recording off the DVR. My daughter wouldn't let us delete it because whenever she couldn't find something to watch she would watch that. She knows all the lines by heart.

The only disappointing thing I have to report about it is that there doesn't appear to be any deleted scenes or behind the scenes footage. I know my daughter will not be happy about that. I'm all about deleted scenes myself. I always want to see everything that gets filmed. Usually it adds to the story in some way. Well maybe they'll release a special addition DVD if these sell well. One can only hope.
